A38, that is Artemovsk 38 used to be a Ukrainian stone carrier and its metamorphosis resulted in an iconic cultural center of the capital. Original signature features were kept while a modern and friendly interior was built. Consulting with catering and event organizing specialists allowed for making it well-working entertainment venue.

The planning, permission and construction processes took 2 years. Although it is a moored boat a hundred tons of concrete assures stability, however, bottles are still clinking when the party is peaking.

Throughout more than ten years of history the boat has witnessed around 5000 events, indoors and outdoors with more than 2 million guests. Sponsors of A38 include the Hungarian Electric Works and the Austrian Cultural Forum.

There is a scenic view from aboard over the Millennial Cultural Center with the Palace of Arts (Müpa) and the National Theatre. The peculiar decorative lighting of these buildings makes this experience even more impressive.

By today, A38 has gained an international reputation. It is host to high quality programs, primarily concerts of various styles, such as pop, rock, alternative, jazz and electronic music, but temporary exhibitions also.
